From the halls of medicine to the ateliers of royalty, our journey began with a vision: to create luxurious shawls for the elite. What started as a personal transition from a medical career soon became a passion to revive and elevate traditional South Asian craftsmanship.

Founded in 2015 by Sumayia Malik, the brand is a tribute to generations of artistic heritage and timeless artisanship unique to Pakistan. Today, Sumayia Malik – The Luxury Couture is globally recognized for its dedication to refined design, handcraft, and storytelling through fabric.

Each collection blends intricate traditional techniques like Rilli, Kantha, and Zardozi, harmoniously infused with elements of Kalamkaar, Pashmina, Shahtoosh, and Pashtoosh. Every article of clothing is meticulously handworked in Kahni, using only the purest fabrics — including Irish linen, hand-woven silks, chiffons, French lace, lame, brocade, and premium Pashmina.
